2somaia

Advisory, rapid experiments, and partnerships across biotech, manufacturing, and tough-tech.

Exploring practical biotech and operations to turn ideas into ventures that save the planet
2somaia
2somaia raises a neutral umbrella that stays brand-agnostic, preserves optionality, and compounds assets like methods, relationships, and IP, toward products, partnerships, or spin-outs.

Why

Turn real-world constraints into measurable gains.

What

Selective consulting + rapid experiments with partners.

How

Fast loops with clear metrics; outcomes drive whether we scale, pivot, or sunset.

2somaia studio is led by Yizhaq Engelberg, Ph.D., an MIT-derived scientist-operator who bridges biotechnology and real-world operations. He has led multidisciplinary teams to develop field-ready devices for defense and environmental applications, and earlier engineered protein-based materials and delivery systems, turning deep science into deployable solutions.
In startups he’s owned the messy middle; R&D, market analysis, partner/investor engagement, and execution.

Before academia he spent a decade in high-stakes operational roles, sharpening judgment, risk assessment, and team leadership. That mix of science rigor + operator discipline is why our studio runs short, instrumented loops (discover → prototype → pilot → decide) that move yield, cost, and reliability, compounding methods, relationships, and IP into products, partnerships, or spin-outs.
